Eisam opens its doors in Cameroon
New developments in higher education in Cameroon. The International School of Advanced Science and Management (Eisam) officially opens its doors in September 2024. A private university offering excellence in mathematics, physics, computer science and more.
“It's the desire to share the experience I've acquired, the experience that the co-founders of L'Eisam have acquired in Europe, Cameroon, Gabon and through our various travels around the world.” said Mr. Nestor Yepmeni Nestor YepmeniEisam promoter.

The inauguration ceremony of the Douala campus on Friday May 17, 2024 was presided over by the Professor Magloire OndouaEisam's President, the Rector of the University of Douala, and personal representative of the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Professor Jacques Fame Ndongo. It was an opportunity for the Minister to get a close-up view of the environment in which the future engineers will be housed, and to find out more about Eisam's various innovative programs.
"You know, it's not every day that a private institute commits itself, takes the courage to provide training from the very first years, i.e. preparatory classes, and then accompany students all the way through universities or engineering schools abroad. This is a first. said Professor Jean Louis Woukeng

As a preparatory school. Eisam's uniqueness lies in its comprehensive support for students.
"Clearly, failure is out of the question. In other words? We're going to lead the student towards excellence in several aspects, several skills, academic skills, but also what we call soft skills." confirms Mourad Bouneffa, university professor in computer science.
"We're only looking for teachers who have a doctorate with a certain level of competence and pedagogical fluency too. In other words, experience, but also a bilingual profile. We're also looking for teachers who can teach in both French and English. We're also looking for teachers with an international profile." reassured Nicolas Waldhoff, co-founder of Eisam.

Located in Makèpè, in Douala's fifth arrondissement, Eisam offers two years of diversified and complex training. The aim is to prepare students to enter the 204 engineering schools in France. Registrations for the 2024-2025 academic year are already open.
